REGENERATIVE Hair Restoration
Hair Restoration
Today, men and women are enjoying thicker, fuller hair, thanks to a breakthrough treatment known as Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP.
Thinning hair and hair loss is more than a cosmetic concern. It can affect the way you view yourself and how others perceive you.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, can reinvigorate dormant and inactive hair follicles, encourage new growth, and provide the environment to help hair implants grow thicker and healthier.

How PRP Can Help with Hair Loss
Hair also requires nourishment and obtains the nutrients it needs through the blood flow that’s available to hair follicles. PRP therapy improves blood flow to stimulate hair follicles that have become inactive.
- Non-surgical
- Procedure lasts approximately an hour
- Targeted and accelerated healing
- Quick recovery
- Rapid results with long-term benefits
- Natural looking results without artificial enhancement
- Low risk of infection, rejection or allergic reaction
- Multiple treatments can be used with no ill effects
- Effective for men and women
As an added benefit, when the scalp receives the needed nutrients, it also helps hair grow faster and even prevent dandruff.
The PRP Process
PRP therapy uses your own blood and is combined with the micro needling technique to help hair grow. Your blood contains a variety of growth factors that can be isolated and utilized to enhance hair growth. A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the natural growth factors for introduction into the scalp.
A device that looks similar to a pen is used for the micro needling process. It’s equipped with multiple micro fine needles that are used to prick the surface of the skin to the optimal depth to reach the hair follicles.
Your body uses the PRP from your blood to initiate and amplify healing at the site where “injury” has occurred from the micro needling procedure. As the treated area heals, blood flow is increased and collagen production is triggered to stimulate new growth and protect against further hair loss. Enhanced hair growth and increased diameter of the hair shaft has been demonstrated over the course of four months following treatment.
Hair Loss Myths
A myriad of myths surround hair loss and continue to persist despite modern scientific proof. It’s important to know that as people age they grow less hair and it tends to be finer in texture and one of the causes is reduced collagen production.
Hair loss is equally common in women and men, but women are more likely to invest in a wig to cover the condition and are more creative at hiding hair loss. Men tend to lose hair on the top and front of the head and if you’re a woman your hair loss will tend to be distributed more evenly throughout the scalp.
Hair loss can occur from multiple reasons, but the primary cause is genetics. While hair loss isn’t actually inherited, it does tend to follow patterns within families.
Stress and poor diet can contribute to hair loss and exacerbate it. Tight hairstyles can also pull hair out by the roots and lead to traction alopecia. In a culture where thick locks are often associated with physical attractiveness and sexuality, hair loss can be particularly devastating.
No matter what the cause, hair loss results in a loss of self-esteem and can lead to anxiety and depression. It also impacts your lifestyle. You may begin to avoid social events, withdraw from activities in which your hair loss may become known, and it can adversely affect your health.
